Credit Card Security and Fraud Checks



MP4 Global takes the processing of online transactions very seriously. We adhere to a strict policy of security checks. No order will be accepted unless complete information is provided including full addresses, e-mail address and phone numbers. Credit Card Orders to Unlisted Addresses: Your card details will go through an Address Verification process. If the Address verification fails you will be required to provide additional proof by Paypal.

All orders go through a fraud screening process to ensure that all details given are accurate. MP4 Global reserves the right to refuse any order if we believe that it is fraudulent or is suspicious in nature.

During checkout, buyers IP addresses are recorded with each order and attempted order. If a transaction is believed to be fraudulent MP4 Global will report the attempt to the relevant authorities for investigation. We enforce this policy strictly regardless of what country you happen to be located in and we follow through with providing all evidence to the authorities to assist them with tracking down and arresting fraudsters.

Shipping Policy On Retail Items

Standard (4 - 14 working days in transit): FREE SHIPPING

All items ship world wide regardless of destination

All orders ship via Registered Airmail Service from Hong Kong, all orders take 2 - 5 working days to ship out. All items ship worldwide for the same rate, items can take 4 - 14 working days to arrive most major metropolitan destinations.

All items will require a signature on delivery, standard shipping does not come with real time online tracking, however the item can be tracked by the post office. Those sent via express shipping can be tracked online.

Package Registration is a trackable service but it will only show up when it leaves for its destination and it will again be updated when it is delivered. If a package does not arrive within 14 working days, Hong Kong Post can trace the package offline, it does take Hong Kong Post 2 working days to find parcels this way.

Buyers will receive an email confirmation when their item ships.

Warranty On Retail Items



All MP4 and MP3 players come with a 12 month standard warranty against defects in workmanship, it does not cosmetic wear and tear or damage through misuse. On select players upgrading your firmware will invalidate your warranty - please do not update your firmware for these players.

In the event of any returned goods where you are requesting a repair / replacement / refund under the warranty, your shipping costs returning the products to MP4 GLOBAL warehouse in China / Hong Kong are payable by the customer, and cannot be compensated by MP4 GLOBAL.

Physical damage to a product caused by the user invalidates the warranty. Opening products up, e.g. to repair or modify components, invalidates the warranty. Flashing the firmware or using non-approved software invalidates the warranty.

Rules on Promotion & discount coupons



All promotions are under the discretion of MP4 GLOBAL. Sales can be cancelled upon the discretion of MP4 GLOBAL if they have deemed cause has occured.

Transactions deemed to be fradulent or a problem may not be shipped out and a refund will be given upon the discretion of MP4 GLOBAL operators.

Any and all coupons that are used can only be used on purchases over $40.00. Unless previously stated by MP4 GLOBAL staff

Return Policy On Retail Items



MP4Global only offers returns on MP4 & MP3 items sold directly through our site. We offer a 14 day return policy, as long as the item has not been damaged. If within 14 days of getting the MP4 or MP3 player, you may send it back to us for a refund, minus the initial shipping charge which should be paid by the customer. All items must be returned with all accessories and free gifts that came with it. Refunds will not be given to any damaged players (this includes players that have scratches or any other cosmetic damage). Items must be returned in a as new state. If any items have been damaged or scratched no refund will be given. Same applies for all accessories, gift boxes and free gifts given with the player. Players that come with sealed accessories are considered used and unreturnable if these accessories are opened. All returns or exchanges will be deducted shipping for the first time being shipped and re-shipping that is sent back to the client a second time and $10.00 per player, for administrative purposes.

After 14 days ALL SALES ARE FINAL, all MP4 players come with a standard 1 year warranty against defects in workmanship, it does not cover human damage by misuse, water, or heat damage.

If your item arrives non functioning/DOA/or defective then the buyer must notify us within 48hrs of the item arriving, we will exchange the defective player for a new one. We do not replace any accessories (headphone, USB cable etc) or free gift items that may have come with the item.

For Mobile phones, all sales are final. Unless previously agreed upon by MP4 GLOBAL. Refunds will not be given, exchanges for faulty phones will be given if agreed upon by MP4 GLOBAL staff. Exchanges are only valid if the phone is currently in stock, or if the phone is still being produced, this is up to the discrection and decision of MP4 GLOBAL. Phones that are not being produced any more, will not be exchanged for a refund, exchange, it is up to the customer to know this policy of MP4 GLOBAL, before they choose to purchase any mobile phones, or any other items from MP4 GLOBAL.

In the event of any returned goods that is agreed upon by MP4 GLOBAL where you are requesting a repair / replacement / refund under the warranty, your shipping costs returning the products to the MP4 GLOBAL warehouse in China / Hong Kong are payable by the customer, and cannot be compensated by MP4 GLOBAL.

Any items that is being returned for a refund to MP4 GLOBAL, if the item is scratched, damaged, has water damage, any items, accessories missing, NO refund will be issued until all the items have been returned to MP4 GLOBAL.

All items that are to be returned for a refund or exchange, must first be discussed with a member of MP4 GLOBAL staff. Once return address has been issued, along with RMA number, only then items will be allowed to be returned. MP4 GLOBAL is NOT responsible for lost items that are shipped from customers to MP4 GLOBAL warehouse or shipping office.

It is the responsibility of the customer who is sending an item(s) back to MP4 GLOBAL, to make sure the address on the item is same as the address given by MP4 GLOBAL. It is up to the customer who is sending the item back to decide the best method of shipment, either FEDEX, DHL, UPS or Registered airmail. If the package is lost or damaged during shipment, MP4 GLOBAL is NOT responsible for any loss or damage that is incurred. Suggestion for all customers sending items back to MP4 GLOBAL shipping dept or warehouse is to choose registered airmail or some sort of shipping method where documentation needs to be signed upon receiving the item. And not just by regular airmail where the package may be lost or having a hard time being tracked.

Once the item is received by a member of MP4 GLOBAL staff, the customer will be notified of the return, and then it will go through quality control check, to find out what the problem is and to find out if the problem is a manufacturers error or if it is a human error. If the problem was a manufactureres error, such as faulty software, faulty worksmanship or that for accessories, then a full or partial refund will be given, again up to the discrection of MP4 GLOBAL staff.

If the problem is a human error, such as been dropped (Only MP4 GLOBAL qualified engineers should be opening up the players to find out exactly what the problem is and how it occured) or if it has been exposed to water damage or any other type of damages, then no refund will be given. Full discrection is given to MP4 GLOBAL staff to find out what the problem is and to find out a possible solution that can be reached with the customer. If the problem is human error (e.g. dropped or water damage) and after quality check, it is deemed that, then NO refund will be given, the customer can choose to have the item shipped back to them for there own use (if they want to try to fix it by them selves) however the payment of shipping will be paid by the customer and not by MP4 GLOBAL.

In the event of a partial refund, for example accessories, depending on the items that are returned and the state they are in, full discrection and decision making will be up to MP4 GLOBAL staff upon how much refund will be given again depending on items being returned and condition they are returned in.

Any purchases made through www.mp4global.com website, via credit card or via paypal, western union, bank transfers, MP4 GLOBAL staff will trust that all customers & clients have read all the terms and conditions and MP4 GLOBAL is not liabale for any problems, or confusions that customers may have.
